Niagara Falls - Holiday Festival of Lights

Depart today on a tour for Niagara Falls, Canada. Niagara Falls is a true natural Wonder of the World and the holiday season is becoming an increasingly popular time to visit. The city of Niagara Falls, Canada is beautifully decorated for the Christmas Season and people come from all over the world to see this spectacular sight. A late afternoon arrival is expected at the Hilton Fallsview Hotel. Our hotel has a great location in the midst of all the attractions on the Canadian side of the Falls, plus it is near one of the popular casinos. Tonight enjoy dinner at Betty’s Restaurant and after dark the Falls will be lit up by giant colored spotlights and the parks and buildings are filled with millions of Christmas lights. (D)

Breakfast is included at the Marriott each morning. We have seen the magnificent lighting display at night… Now it’s time to  set out and see the sights in the daylight. A local guide will be with us all day. You’ll see the Floral Clock and view the Canadian and American Falls from many vantage points. We’ll also do some holiday shopping in the English community of Niagara on the Lake, and see the colorful show about the history and miracles surrounding the Niagara area in the warmth of the Niagara IMAX Theater. Admission to the Niagara Daredevil Gallery is also included. Tonight enjoy dinner in the revolving dining room atop the Skylon Tower. The view from your table will be spectacular. After dark the entire area becomes a winter wonderland. Later try your luck in one of the Niagara Casinos. (B,D)

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before concluding your visit to Canada. There will be a stop at the Rainbow Bridge Duty Free store for some bargain shopping. On the way home pause in New York’s famous Finger Lakes Region, where popular New York State wines are produced. Enjoy a wine tasting and lunch at Ventosa Vineyards in Geneva, NY overlooking beautiful Lake Seneca. (B)
