Itinerary
Day 1 - Arrive Montreal, Canada
This morning we depart on our 3-night trip to Montreal, Canada. Our destination is the St. Lawrence River Valley and the city of Montreal. This afternoon we check into our hotel, the 4-Star Delta Montreal, located in the center of it all. Tonight, dinner is included at our hotel. (D)
Day 2 - Montreal
Full breakfast is included at the hotel, before we meet our local guide. One of our stops will be the beautiful Notre Dame Basilica, truly one of the most famous churches in Canada. The design is very French Canadian and the wood carvings are spectacular. From Notre Dame we will visit historic Dominion Square, in the heart of Montreal, and we will take in the spectacular vista atop Mont Royal, visit the world famous St. Joseph’s Oratory on the slope of Westmount overlooking the Western part of the city. Thousands of pilgrims come to St. Josephs climbing the steps devoutly on their knees. This afternoon is free to explore the second largest French-speaking city in the world. This evening we meet back up to enjoy dinner at the Vieux Port Steakhouse. (B,D)
Day 3 - Montreal
After breakfast, the first part of our day is at leisure to enjoy the beautiful city and its many offerings. Later this afternoon, we embark on a guided sightseeing cruise and a breathtaking discovery of Montreal from the river’s viewpoint. The rest of the night is at leisure to shop, explore, and walk around beautiful Montreal at night. (B)
Day 4 - Depart Montreal
Breakfast is again included at the hotel, before we’re homeward bound. We will stop for shopping at Duty Free. Bonjour et adieu Montreal. It’s been a delightful 4 days and an experience we will never forget! (B)
