Itinerary
Day 1 - Home / Cruise from Portland to Nova Scotia
A morning departure on the first leg of our exciting Cruise Tour to Atlantic Canada. Today we’ll travel to the Coast of Maine and the city of Portland. This afternoon we board the luxurious ocean going ferry called The CAT and sail across the Bay of Fundy to Yarmouth, Nova Scotia. DINNER is included on the ship and with an evening arrival in Yarmouth we will transfer to The Rodd Grand Hotel for our first night in Canada.

Day 2 - Yarmouth / Lunenburg / Peggy's Cove
BREAKFAST is included at the Grand and this morning we will meet our guide and set out along the Eastern Coast of Nova Scotia. There will be special sightseeing stops in Lunenburg, home of the famous Canadian sailing ship Bluenose and also in Peggy’s Cove with its lonely lighthouse and quaint shops as the edge of the sea. Our destination is Halifax for two nights at the Lord Nelson Hotel & Suites. The Lord Nelson is located in the heart of the city and within walking distance of the historical harbor. This evening DINNER will be included in Halifax.
Day 3 - Royal Nova Scotia Tattoo
BREAKFAST at the hotel and then a Halifax City Tour this morning conducted by a guide in kilts. What else would you expect in Nova Scotia? During our tour we’ll visit the historic Citadel Fortress Museums. Today’s featured attraction is the 2018 Royal Nova Scotia International Tattoo. This is the largest annual indoor show in the world with over 800 performers. What a spectacle. It’s patriotic, it’s colorful, it’s Royal Canadian from start to finish.
Day 4 - Prince Edward Island
BREAKFAST. The Provinces of Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island are divided by the Straits of Northumberland. The Canadians simply call it PEI, Canada’s smallest and certainly its greenest province. It’s said there are over 50 shades of natural green on this pretty island. Spend two nights at The Holman Grand Hotel in the heart of the Island’s Capital City. A PEI LOBSTER DINNER is included on the wharf tonight. Charlottetown is ideal for walking and exploring and our hotel has a perfect location.
Day 5 - Charlottetown / Green Gables
BREAKFAST at the hotel and a free morning in Charlottetown. This afternoon an island guide will take us to the home of Anne of Green Gables and the Prince Edward Island National Seashore. In Cavendish you’ll learn about famous Prince Edward island oysters at an oyster talk & taste, and another Lobster DINNER (other meal choices too) awaits at popular PEI Lobster Suppers in New Glasgow.
Day 6 - Confederation Bridge to New Brunswick
After BREAKFAST we’ll cross the Confederation Bridge from Prince Edward Island to Cape Tormentine, New Brunswick.T his ocean bridge is an engineering marvel. Our travels will take us to the city of Fredericton and along the scenic Saint John River Valley. Shop at Duty Free before continuing to Bangor where overnight lodging and DINNER is provided.
Day 7 - Boothbay Harbor / Home
BREAKFAST in Bangor and later this morning we’ll stop in picturesque Boothbay Harbor in mid-coast Maine. Boothbay Harbor is filled with little shops and inviting restaurants. This afternoon sit back and reminisce with friends and fellow travelers about all the interesting places we’ve been and the things we’ve seen in Maine and Atlantic Canada.
