Day 1 - Arrive Ocean City, MD

We’re talking ducks and all the other waterfowl that take to the Atlantic Flyway and end up on Maryland’s Eastern Shore each year. Enjoy a guided tour and carving demonstration. After, our cruise boat will be waiting in the little port town of Crisfield to ferry us to historic Tangier Island with its 17th Century streets and few automobiles. The island is actually in the state of Virginia and was first settled by Captain John Smith back in 1608. On Tangier Island Elizabethan English is still spoken and today the island is home to an active crabbing industry. Enjoy a special family style lunch at historic Hilda Crockett’s Chesapeake House and an open air personal tour of this unusual island by golf cart. Return to Ocean City for the evening.

Day 3 - Assateague Island

Breakfast is included in the morning at the Dunes Manor Resort. This morning discover the history and allure of the famous wild Assateague Island Ponies aboard the Assateague Island Discovery Boat. The afternoon will be free to enjoy the Dunes Manor, stroll along the Boardwalk and beach and do a little shopping. Stroll on the Boardwalk and follow the shore birds as they dart along the water’s edge. Tonight Dinner will be included at the popular Hobbit Restaurant on the bay side of Ocean City.

Day 4 - Depart Ocean City

Breakfast is again included. Today we visit the Ocean City Lifesaving Museum and learn all about the history of shipwrecks and heroic lifesaving in the coastal waters between Maryland and Cape Hatteras. Then sit back and enjoy the ride as we return home at approximately 7:30 pm.
