Day 3 - Montreal - Quebec City
Enjoy a leisurly morning and explore Montreal at your own pace. Stroll through Rue Saint-Paul in Old Montreal or perhaps try skating on Mont-Royal. The options are endless!
After lunch, bid farewell to Montreal as you journey northeast to the captivating Québec City — the beating heart of Canada’s French heritage. Each winter, this remarkable city transforms into a glittering wonderland, alive with the warmth and wonder of the holiday season. Upon arrival, enjoy free time to grab a bite and lose yourself in the charm of Old Town (UNESCO), wandering cobblestone streets lined with magnificent 17th-century architecture. Day 4 - Montmorency Falls
Uncover the artistry of copper at the Albert Gilles Copper Art Studio and Museum, where one of the craftsman’s most magnificent achievements — the handcrafted copper doors of the Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupré Shrine — will leave you in awe. Next, step into the warmth of a locally owned Sugar Shack for a hearty traditional lunch accompanied by the lively sounds of live musical entertainment. From there, make your way to Montmorency Falls, where breathtaking views of Québec’s tallest natural waterfall await — a stunning cascade that soars an impressive 30 meters higher than Niagara Falls (weather permitting). The afternoon is yours to embrace the festive spirit, browsing the holiday markets for one-of-a-kind treasures amid the charm of a classic European-style outdoor shopping experience. (B,L)
Day 5 - Quebec City
This morning, set out with a local guide to explore Canada’s only walled city on an immersive sightseeing tour. Until the British victory of 1759, Old Québec stood as the proud center of New France, and its storied past is still very much alive within its ancient walls — from the grand Place d’Armes and the historic Laval Seminary to the timeless Place Royale. Ride the iconic funicular down to Lower Town, where centuries-old houses crowd the narrow, winding streets along the banks of the St. Lawrence River, and take in the sweeping historic Plains of Abraham. Later, join your Tour Director at the enchanting Marché de Noël Allemand de Québec (German Christmas Market), where charming wooden kiosks brim with unique treasures and German-inspired cuisine, all brought to life by the sounds of live musical entertainment. Enjoy a leisurely free afternoon before coming together one last time for a memorable farewell dinner. (B,D)
