Day 1 - Portsmouth, NH & Kittery, Maine
Today, we will sail away to the beautiful Portsmouth, New Hampshire!
Prepare to sail like a local aboard The Piscataqua. We will be sailing to the mouth of the Piscataqua River past forts, lighthouses, and the Naval shipyard and prison. While we sail, enjoy the sounds of the talented musicians who will be joining onboard to entertain us! Once we dock, be sure to check out the indoor exhibit “Changing Nature: 400 Years in the Piscataqua Region” to peruse some intriguing facts..
After our scenic cruise, we will head over to Kittery, Maine for lunch at a local favorite, Warren’s Lobster House. Their waterfront location presents a picturesque setting overlooking the Piscataqua River. Start lunch off with a trip to their famous salad bar which offers over 60 selections! Lunch choices are: Seafood Casserole, Fried Baby Shrimp, Ritzy Filet of Haddock, Crab Crusted Salmon, Top Sirloin Steak, or Chicken Parm. All entrees are served with a Baked Potato, Coffee, Tea, Soda, and Dessert.
Before heading home, make a stop at Labelle Winery. Here, you enjoy a tasting of five of their wonderful wines and receive a keepsake glass.
