Head to New York for an exciting day!
Lunch will be served at The River Grill which is nestled on Newburgh’s Historic Waterfront, and has picturesque views of the Hudson Valley and the magnificent Hudson River banks just off its elegant main dining room.
Spend the afternoon on the Hudson sailing on The River Rose. The River Rose is an authentic 100-foot Mississippi river paddle wheeler. Prior to coming north, the River Rose started out as a casino boat in New Orleans. This sightseeing cruise is narrated and lasts for two hours. You will see and hear about points of historical significance from the Civil War to the Revolutionary War, and more.
Round your day off with a tour and wine tasting at Brotherhood Winery (which is the oldest continuously run winery in the US), or with a visit to The National Purple Heart Hall of Honor (which commemorates the sacrifices of servicemen and service women).
